Industrial electric motor maintenance

TEMISA organizes the maintenance of industrial medium-voltage motors in four levels, L1 to L4, according to operating hours and criticality: from inspection and electrical diagnosis without disassembly to a major overhaul with full disassembly. Work is done in the shop or at the customer's plant, with a technical report that grades each finding.

Scope

What the service covers

  • Preventive maintenance by levels L1–L4, corrective work after a failure and predictive work by condition.
  • Medium-voltage motors at 2.3, 4.16, 6.6 and up to 13.8 kV, subject to nameplate review.
  • Repair processes under ANSI/EASA AR100.
  • Graded report with trends for the reliability team.

Credentials

Who does the work

CFE LAPEM qualification
Supplier qualification certificate 053/26 (specification W6000-20, motors), issued February 20, 2026, valid through May 20, 2027; report R-N01328-9; Talleres Electromecánicos Industriales Sainz, S.A. de C.V., Tlajomulco plant. Literal scope: in-plant service to motors at rated voltage up to 1.5 kV; from 150 to 6,500 HP it includes coils; from 6,500 to 15,000 HP it is limited to cleaning, varnishing, testing and mechanical work; dynamic balancing approved up to 15 t. It is a credential, not the limit of the service offer (medium- and high-voltage motors above 1,000 V, subject to nameplate review).
Quality management and repair process
ISO 9001:2015 certificate IQS/3409/2026, valid September 24, 2026 through September 23, 2029. Repair processes follow ANSI/EASA AR100 (a process standard, not a certification).

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Other questions: write to ventas@temisa.mx and an engineer will answer.

Do you accept low-voltage motors?

No. We accept industrial medium- and high-voltage motors only. Low-voltage motors (1,000 V or less) are outside our service scope. Send the nameplate for review before arranging shipment.

Can maintenance be done at our plant?

Yes. Inspection, electrical tests and minor work can be done on site; work that needs disassembly or rewinding is done in the shop. The split is agreed in the scope.

What is the difference between L1 and L4?

L1 is an inspection and electrical diagnosis without disassembly. L4 is the major overhaul, with full disassembly, cleaning, insulation restoration, mechanical review and acceptance tests.

Medium- and high-voltage enquiries

Provide the motor type and nameplate voltage above 1,000 V. Low-voltage models shown in the reference archive are not accepted. A nameplate photo and failure details help define the scope.
